Topographical maps or toposheets are large to medium scale map that portrays detailed information of a land area bounded by latitude and longitude e.g. elevations via contours and spot heights, small topographic features, detailed drainage, vegetation and forests, human settlement and transport.
These maps are produced through detailed land survey for the entire country.
It is very precise in every respects thus very useful for researchers from any field.
It is also known as general purpose maps.
